Our first step in working with clients is to develop a thorough understanding of their lives, including the people, activities, ideas, and organizations most important to them. We help our clients articulate, prioritize, and quantify their financial goals. We then conduct a thorough analysis of their assets and liabilities. We stress-test their investments to ensure they are protected as life and the markets change. We also assess their insurance policies for any gaps in coverage.
After completing our analysis, we create a written financial analysis and plan. This analysis can identify areas of weakness that need improvement. We are able to calculate the probability of success of our clients reaching their goals. We then lay out the steps necessary to increase this probability through the variables clients can control, such as savings rates, spending habits, and investment allocation. We also consider the impact of inflation and taxes over time.
We then work with our clients to implement these strategies. This includes general budgeting and spending advice, as well as more specific, investment-related direction. Our investment strategies are crafted through the lens of the research of Morgan Stanley’s Global Investment Committee. We make changes to these portfolios over time, as market conditions evolve.

A 37-year veteran of the financial services industry, Dean currently serves as First Vice President of The Audubon Group. He began his career in 1981 with Bache, Halsey, Stuart, Shields in New Orleans. In 1984, Dean made the transition to Morgan Stanley’s predecessor firm, EF Hutton, and has spent the past three decades with the same contiguous firm. Dean’s areas of responsibility include oversight of investment direction for the team, portfolio construction, financial planning and estate planning strategies.
Throughout his career, Dean has focused on serving the needs of high net worth individuals and their families. He is committed to managing client portfolios throughout their lifetime—developing growth-focused strategies aimed at wealth accumulation during the client’s working years and then assisting in managing those portfolios for income-with-growth during retirement. Over the years, Dean’s disciplined approach to wealth management and client service has allowed him to grow his business through the extended families of clients and referrals of their friends and co-workers.
Originally from Kentucky, Dean graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Education from Bethel College in McKenzie, Tn., where he played basketball and baseball. He and his wife of 40 years, Dita, have two adult daughters—Jessica and Megan—and one grandson, Owen Dean. An avid sports fan, Dean has been a New Orleans Pelicans season ticket holder since 2006 and also follows the Saints, LSU and Southern Methodist football. In his free time, he enjoys an active lifestyle that includes plenty of exercise and outdoor activities, especially golf. Dean and Dita love to travel and count their trips to Machu Pichu, Greece, Turkey, China, Kenya, Tanzania and Egypt amongst their most memorable excursions.

Mark has more than 15 years of experience helping high net worth clients grow, manage and share their wealth through various stages of their lives. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Mark takes a comprehensive approach to wealth management. He is committed to learning about each client’s overall situation so that he can develop a custom plan aimed at helping clients achieve their financial objectives. An important part of this process includes risk identification, risk management and/or risk mitigation.
Over the years, Mark has found that having a deep understanding of the needs, wants, goals and dreams of his clients is a critical component of the financial planning process. By taking the time to listen closely, Mark guides clients down a path of discovery in an effort to more fully comprehend their goals. Upon doing so, he is able to craft a plan, leveraging the full power of Morgan Stanley to bring together the right tools, experts and strategies that apply to each client’s situation.
Mark is a graduate of Bradley University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business. Prior to entering the financial services industry, he held executive and senior management positions with firms in the insurance, software development, and internet technology space in Chicago, Oakland and Austin. Mark joined Morgan Stanley in 2003 and has been working alongside partner Dean Wilson since 2005.
With a daughter who is an up and coming equestrian, horses have become one of Mark’s passions. On most weekends you can find him mucking out stalls (keeps him humble), supporting his daughter’s training and competitive efforts or horse-riding himself. He has always enjoyed a great read and a good beach.

Jason works closely with clients to develop a thorough understanding of their overall financial situation, including their retirement goals and investment objectives. In turn, he designs custom financial plans aimed at helping clients achieve those goals, leveraging Morgan Stanley’s extensive research capabilities, intellectual capital and industry leading technology to do so. Jason’s areas of responsibility include financial planning, portfolio management and alternative investments.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor in 2012, Jason spent time working in homeland security and emergency management as the Private Sector Coordinator at the National Incident Management Systems and Advanced Technologies Institute, which is based out of the University of Louisiana Lafayette.
Jason is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History. He also holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from LSU. Jason currently serves on the Steering Committee for the Young Benefactors Society of the National World War II Museum—a group focused on cultivating the museum’s next generation of support through education, engagement and networking.
Jason and his wife, Elyse, reside in Uptown New Orleans along with their dog, Deuce. In their free time, the couple enjoys traveling and taking in the rich culture of the city and South Louisiana.

William brings a diverse skillset to the team, overseeing or assisting with various aspects of the wealth management process. His areas of focus include financial planning, insurance and annuity strategies, and alternative investments.
William is committed to helping his clients identify, articulate and prioritize their financial goals. He then develops a custom plan that will serve as the client’s roadmap to financial success. William and his team continuously monitor and track each client’s progress, making adjustments along the way when necessary. William also works with clients on financial matters unrelated to investments, such as Social Security, Medicare, and Estate planning strategies.
William attended the University of New Orleans, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Finance. However, his introduction to money and finance began as a young child at the dinner table with his grandfather, who served as the Head of Economics at Tulane University for many years. William recalls countless evenings discussing markets and supply and demand over meals with his grandfather.
A New Orleans native, William likes trying all of the wonderful new restaurants and events that his hometown has to offer. He is recently engaged and is helping his fiancé plan their wedding. William also enjoys traveling with family and friends and has recently visited Italy and Switzerland in the past few years.

Sandra brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and currently serves as Senior Client Service Associate for The Audubon Group. She has spent her entire career with Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms, having worked in various operations and sales assistant roles over the years. Sandra has been working alongside team leader Dean Wilson since 2005.
Sandra plays an integral part on the team, helping run the day-to-day operations for the group. She is often the first point of contact for clients calling in with questions about their accounts. She has a true passion for serving clients and prides herself on handling client requests in an efficient and timely manner.
A proud mother of one daughter and one son, Sandra is an even prouder grandmother of her two granddaughters. When not at work, she and her husband, Steve, enjoy spending time with family.
Laura began her career in financial services in 1997 with Morgan Stanley’s predecessor firm, Legg Mason. As Senior Client Service Associate, Laura relies on her deep understanding of the Morgan Stanley platform to ensure that everything is running smoothly behind the scenes and that clients are receiving the utmost care and attention. She truly enjoys getting to know the group’s clients on a personal level.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Phoenix and is fluent in English as well as Spanish, which is her native language. She enjoys traveling and is a fan of all types of music. Away from the office, Laura spends much of her free time reading, writing, gardening and spending quality time with family.
