Al was born and raised in Wisconsin, attending public schools and playing high school sports. In 1968, he was awarded an American Field Service scholarship. He spent the summer of his junior year in high school studying and living with a Brazilian family in Rio de Janeiro and on their farm in Santa Rita do Sapucai.
After graduating with a BS degree from the University of Wisconsin, Al worked briefly as a buyer for a Midwest hardware wholesaler before getting married and moving to the West Coast. There he worked for L.B. Foster Co. as a product and branch manager, supplying steel for major construction and marine projects, including the Alaska pipeline. He joined E.F. Hutton, a predecessor firm of Morgan Stanley in 1983. Along with his team he has been providing financial advice, portfolio management, retirement planning, cash management, and access to lending services to clients and their families for over 32 years.
Al currently resides in Federal Way, Washington with his wife of 40 years and their springer spaniel. They have three adult children. They like to travel and make frequent trips to Hawaii. Al is, of course, a Green Bay Packers fan.

Ryan is passionate about his family, community, and helping his clients navigate the complexities of their financial lives.
He lives in West Seattle with his wife Danielle, their children, Owen and Olivia and dog Ellie. He believes that life is too short not to travel and see the world. His favorite destination remains Italy, where he and his wife were married in Vernazza, Cinque Terre. Ryan is on the board of the Seattle Children’s Theatre. Most of his clients are surprised to learn that he was also a child actor himself.
Ryan’s journey as a financial advisor and Certified Financial Planner™ started when he was just a boy. During a visit to ‘grandma’s house’ she took him to a bookstore and allowed him to pick out one book. Across the aisle from the children’s novels, Ryan grabbed for a thick bound book on investing. With that, an early passion was born that eventually lead him to Morgan Stanley. He interned at Salomon Smith Barney, a predecessor firm of Morgan Stanley while a junior and senior at Ballard High School in Seattle. His experience there was featured in the national publication, Young Money Magazine. Ryan earned a B.A. in Finance from Western Washington University. His first job upon graduation was as a wire operator in the Seattle Smith Barney office where he started. He spent several years in the firm’s northwest regional office as the Senior Training Specialist covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. He has been helping clients for over 17 years.
