The Dow Group is client centered and seeks to add value in all aspects of our client relationships. We have elected to limit the size of our clientele and to grow our practice primarily through word of mouth. This allows us to remain accessible to, and focused on, each individual client. Our investment process looks to optimize results through ongoing research, evaluation, and monitoring of the portfolio's balance of risk and return. We uphold the belief that costs matter to client's returns, so we incorporate a highly competitive fee structure and seek low cost investments that add value. Ken joined Morgan Stanley* in 1997, upon his transition from careers in engineering and strategic planning. He is a CFP practitioner, and earned the CIMA designation from The Wharton School of Business. He holds an MBA (1991) from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, with a concentration in Finance and Marketing, and graduating ‘with distinction’. He also holds an Engineering Degree (1984) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Ken’s philosophy towards money management stems from his childhood where he worked miscellaneous jobs throughout grade school and high school, to save for and pay for his undergraduate and graduate education. His inherent, analytical mindset, professional strategic planning experiences, and passion for helping others, support his delivery of clear, competent and suitable financial advice. His commitment to excellence and professional development help ensure that he remains current with industry topics and that his advice continues to be relevant.
Ken volunteers his time with his church, and supports philanthropic causes which are important to him including Make a Wish, Red Cross, and Anti-Cruelty Society. While he enjoys physical fitness training and travel, Ken's passion is diet, nutrition and lifestyle supporting optimal health, which developed through several years of managing and finally resolving a personal health event. Ken was born and raised in Chicago, and currently lives with his wife Ann Marie and their three children, Emily, Bradley and Myles, in Elmhurst, Illinois.

Nancy grew up in Evergreen Park, IL and received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She joined The Dow Group, and has over 20 years of experience in the investment industry. Additionally, she worked in the local school district as a special education assistant for several years. Together, this brings an attentive, detailed, thoughtful and caring approach, which supports our interest in providing clients with highly personal and accurate service. Nancy resides in Downers Grove with her husband, Mike, and 2 children, Charlie and Grace. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, especially golfing and cycling.
