OUR MISSION STATEMENT
We work with individuals and institutions to develop financial strategies using sustainable investment portfolios.
We work with individuals and institutions to develop financial strategies using sustainable investment portfolios.
Capital creates change in the world. The Indigo Group seeks to deliver competitive financial returns while driving positive environmental and social impact by investing in companies that exemplify leadership in social and environmental responsibility.
Our framework enables clients to align their portfolios with their unique impact investing priorities. Morgan Stanley has leveraged its market position as a leading Wealth Management firm to empower our clients to Invest with Impact.
Through thoughtful dialogue and collaboration with Indigo's advisors, clients clarify and reveal their distinct motivations, which ultimately drive their Investing with Impact strategy. These objectives incorporate institutional mission, personal values, world view and more. Some examples, among many others, include: integrating environmental awareness, promoting diversity and supporting local communities.
The Indigo Group at Morgan Stanley is a financial advisory practice within the structure of a global investment firm. The principals of the group, Mark C. Callaway, Financial Advisor, P.J. Younglove Hovey, Financial Advisor, and LeA Coe, Wealth Management Associate, each have over 30 years of experience in the consulting and advising world. The group shares the values of family, good stewardship of resources and commitment to the community. Money touches everything about our lives, and it is too important to be left to chance.
The Indigo Group's services include: comprehensive financial planning; investment planning; retirement guidance; examination of risks in a client's financial life; tax management strategies; insurance evaluation; next generation planning; philanthropic guidance. The group has also become advocates for last stages of life planning, transitions in living situations, and re-balancing of investments as clients move through later life.
For the past 15 years, the Indigo Group has developed a strong focus on Impact Investing and Socially Responsible Portfolios for our clients. This allows clients to align investment decisions with their personal values. We follow the Morgan Stanley Investing with Impact research and thought leadership.
Managing the financial resources of a family, a business, or a philanthropic endeavor is a serious job. It takes time, focus, attention to risk, and a willingness to know our clients and their situations in depth. We have chosen this work. We have a real passion for it, and our clients have told us in many ways that we have made a significant difference in their lives.
Our intense discovery process helps us understand all the elements of a client's life which may be affected by both financial and investment planning. It is our job to listen to what your needs and concerns are, and to address those with intelligence and care. We help create a path for you, monitor that path, and meet with you to discuss problems and progress along the way.
Comprehensive investment planning has been a focus throughout my career. In 1989, I opened a Robinson – Humphrey & Co office in LaGrange, GA, which later merged with one of the predecessor firms of Morgan Stanley.
My area of concentration is helping clients set investment objectives, developing an asset allocation strategy, making stock and fund selections, and establishing customized investment strategies. I have managed SRI/ESG/Impact Investing-style discretionary strategies within the Morgan Stanley Portfolio Management platform since 2000. My engagement in the following programs speaks directly to my ability to help clients make the best choices for sustainable investments:
- Named an Investing with Impact Champion by Morgan Stanley since 2014
- Attended Oxford University's Impact Investing Executive Program in 2015
- Co-founded the Southeast Corporate Sustainability Rankings
Through my grandfather's commitment to both managing a business well and creating avenues for giving back, I learned the values of philanthropy. These lessons help me inspire my clients to be active donors to the causes which inspire them.
I have personal experience in multi-generational planning and the multifaceted issues that arise in legacy planning for families. This comes from serving as a third-generation trustee on two of the Callaway Family Foundations. In addition, I created my own family foundation, The Morning Star Foundation, to help foster and pass on appreciation for philanthropic involvement to my children.
My degrees in theater and political science, combined with an MBA, add depth to how I think about solutions for my clients.
- Served as an adjunct professor teaching Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management.
- Senior Vice President of Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley
- Hold certifications as a Senior Investment Management Consultant, Senior Portfolio Manager and Financial Planning Specialist.
In addition, I have served in a number of leadership capacities on the boards of The University of Georgia, the Georgia Institute of Technology, Berry College, and LaGrange College. Being a part of policy and leadership in non-profit organizations helps me work more effectively with clients who believe that life should be a balance of enterprise and service.

The roots of my career as a financial advisor run deep. Both of my grandfathers and my father were client centered business men and bankers. They taught me by example to know that the rewards for helping a family build wealth, teach their children the value of family treasure, and do it with care would be the signs of a good life for all. My career began as an entrepreneur in the fashion industry, and it taught me valuable lessons about service, customer experience, and managing financial resources,
My official title as a First Vice President of Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley is a point of pride as a woman in this field. Women control the bulk of the financial assets in this country, and we need our voices to be heard as managers of this wealth. I also have specific designations as a Senior Investment Management Consultant, a Financial Planning Specialist, and a fellow of US/SIF, the forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment.
As the needs of our clients have moved beyond the traditional education or retirement planning, I have moved forward with more detailed work on second career development, family philanthropy, and extensive end of life intentions.
My education at Skidmore College, Dartmouth College, and the George Washington University School of Management helped create a foundation which has allowed me to be a lifelong learner in a changing world. I have been a participant in the Harvard Business School Retail Management conference, and the White House Women in Business Conference.
My work career has an equally strong parallel in the non-profit sector. Being a leader in my community and a philanthropist from a young age is both a responsibility as a citizen, and a rich source of experiences and connections which have served me well. I have held positions of leadership on the governing boards of the Junior League, the Washington Ballet, Georgians for Children, the Alliance Theatre, the Atlanta Film Festival, and the Community Foundation of West Georgia.

Holding over 35 years of experience, I manage all of the customer relations for the Indigo Group. My career began in Minneapolis, continuing in Phoenix. I added legal experience to my credentials as the Administrative Assistant to the principal partner in one of Chattanooga’s top law firms.
I am the team member that answers your questions, providing for you in-depth understanding of the correspondence from the group. My job is to streamline all of the services and provide the education which fits your needs. My work has been recognized by the Morgan Stanley branch when I was awarded as the Branch’s Outstanding Associate.
Soon after moving to LaGrange, GA in 1986, I joined Mark Callaway’s staff. I have been Mark and PJ’s associate for the past 20 years. I hold Series 7 and Series 8 licenses and have successfully completed additional course work through Morgan Stanley in Retirement Planning and Portfolio Management.
Outside the office, I carry on the team’s theatre and arts theme. I am active in my church through the drama and music ministry. My support of the Spruill Arts Center in Dunwoody along with the High Museum and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens rounds out my civic engagement.
I joined the Indigo Group in 2016 while completing graduate studies at Georgia Tech. As an analyst, my role includes portfolio management and analysis, research on financial and sustainability factors of investments, and searching for new opportunities to invest with impact.
My education includes a Master’s in Quantitative and Computational Finance from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Johns Hopkins University. While at Tech, I worked on research in Sustainable Finance and Accounting for the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business.
