Steve W. Cooke is a Financial Advisor and a founding partner of the Old Pueblo Group at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in Tucson, Arizona. With nearly three decades of experience, Steve provides clients with a clear understanding of the global capital markets and sophisticated financial instruments to help them achieve their long-term financial goals.
As a Morgan Stanley Portfolio Management Director, Steve is credentialed to manage personal and institutional investment portfolios on a discretionary basis. Training as an Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor® enables Steve to advise clients on wealth transfers, federal taxation, and planning for financial and medical end-of-life needs for domestic partners. Steve is also a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist®, the nation’s premier credential for assistance in designing, installing and maintaining company retirement plans.
When not working with his clients, Steve volunteers for a variety of organizations, including Habitat for Humanity –Tucson, the Boys and Girls Club, and the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. He has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and the Boys and Girls Club for more than 20 years in three states. He also enjoys woodworking, welding and fishing.
Steve grew up in Richmond, Virginia and earned a B.S. in business administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. While at Virginia Tech, he met his wife Lisa. He served as a branch manager for Smith Barney in Valdosta, Georgia before moving to Tucson with his wife and three children. Shortly after moving to Tucson, the entire Cooke family fell in love with the area’s high desert landscape and beautiful sunsets.

Geoffrey Miller is a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. A Tucson native, Geoffrey began his financial services career with Smith Barney. In 2016, to better serve his clients, Geoffrey co-founded the Old Pueblo Group at Morgan Stanley.
As a Certified Financial Planner®, Geoffrey is a problem-solver for his clients. He enjoys creating and implementing financial plans, portfolio management, and asset allocation strategies. Geoffrey has experience consulting and risk management for institutional clients and in investment planning, and risk & asset management, for high-net worth clients.
Prior to starting his advisory career, Geoffrey served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. He served as the Joint Operations Officer for JTF-515, under the 7th Fleet Admiral in Yokosuka, Japan, and as the Executive Officer aboard the USS Hurricane (PC-3) during forward deployed operations in the Northern Arabian Gulf.
In his spare time, Geoffrey coaches Little League baseball and volunteers as a Cubmaster for Pack #122. He lends his leadership skills to various professional and charitable organizations, including the Arizona Captive Insurance Association, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks #385 and the Southern Arizona Naval Academy Alumni Association. Geoffrey earned a B.S. in Economics from the United States Naval Academy and Commission from the President of the United States in 2001. His weekend pursuits include flying, boating, golfing, and off-roading with his two sons. He lives in Tucson with his wife Meghan.

Janie began her career in financial services 27 years ago. She has worked with Morgan Stanley (and its predecessor companies) for 20 years in a variety of capacities, such as registered sales assistant, operations manager and administrative manager. She served as compliance manager with Merrill Lynch for five years. With an interest in learning more about financial planning, she successfully completed the Morgan Stanley Financial Advisor training program. Janie also holds the Series 7, 63, 65, 3, 31, 8 and Insurance licenses, all of which allow her to efficiently and effectively help the Group’s clients. She joined the Old Pueblo Group in 2012 to leverage her significant experience and training. Janie enjoys getting to know the Group’s clients on a personal level; and brings her considerable knowledge to bear in helping them solve complex issues.
A certified therapeutic riding instructor with PATH Int’l (the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship), Janie and her husband founded the nonprofit organization Agape Acres, a Therapeutic Riding Center providing Equine Assisted Activities Therapy and Equine Assisted Learning for children with special needs. Janie and her husband Brian are both animal lovers and enjoy being new grandparents to their granddaughter Berkley. They live on their 15 acre ranch in Marana, AZ with their two adopted sons, and a wide array of farm animals and pets.
Kristine began her 14-year career in financial services as a bank teller and later as a customer service representative at Discover Card, a Morgan Stanley subsidiary. With a growing interest in learning more about client service, she joined the parent company in 2005 and has worked within several of the Firm’s customer service units, such as Branch Support and Tech Support. Her experience and licenses (Series 7 and 63) enable Kristine to efficiently and effectively aid the Group’s clients with their financial needs, which is what she enjoys most about her role.
Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, and Kristine now resides in Tucson with her husband, Chris, and their two sons. When not assisting clients with a variety of matters, Kristine enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, hiking and going to the movies.
After graduating with a Master’s degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Jackie wanted to work in wealth management to impact peoples’ financial lives, in part by providing clients with education that they could pass on to their children. Attracted to Morgan Stanley’s integrity, commitment to doing the right thing for clients, and the community, she joined the Old Pueblo Group in 2018. Among her many responsibilities, Jackie educates clients about the Firm’s advanced digital tools, such as Morgan Stanley Online.
She enjoys connecting with the groups’ clients and spends her free time volunteering with the Tucson Parks Foundation and the Thunderbird Alumni Association. Her other hobbies include photography and traveling. Jackie graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Women’s Studies and Anthropology. She resides in Tucson and is currently planning her wedding.
