OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Working with families to help them preserve and grow wealth with a goals-based, relationship-oriented approach.
Working with families to help them preserve and grow wealth with a goals-based, relationship-oriented approach.
The Audubon Group was formed to provide meaningful advice to clients from a team of highly competent, hard-working, professional financial advisors from a wide range of skillsets, life experiences, and points-of-view. Our think-tank approach establishes the framework for open dialogue in an effort to solve our clients’ most complex needs in a tailored way. We build financial plans for clients to help them articulate, prioritize, quantify, plan for, and reach their goals.
We focus on the following areas:
We ask our clients to treat us as their personal CFO. When any large financial decision arises, we ask our clients to call us for a discussion. This includes purchasing or leasing a vehicle or home, paying for education expenses, handling inheritances, or any other financial topic.
By developing a deep understanding of our clients’ lives, we are able to provide tailored, meaningful advice and help our client’s enjoy the personal and financial success they’ve worked hard to achieve.
Our clients come first.
Our first step in working with clients is to develop a thorough understanding of their lives, including the people, activities, ideas, and organizations most important to them. We help our clients articulate, prioritize, and quantify their financial goals. We then conduct a thorough analysis of their assets and liabilities. We stress-test their investments to ensure they are protected as life and the markets change. We also assess their insurance policies for any gaps in coverage.
After completing our analysis, we create a written financial analysis and plan. This analysis can identify areas of weakness that need improvement. We are able to calculate the probability of success of our clients reaching their goals. We then lay out the steps necessary to increase this probability through the variables clients can control, such as savings rates, spending habits, and investment allocation. We also consider the impact of inflation and taxes over time.
We then work with our clients to implement these strategies. This includes general budgeting and spending advice, as well as more specific, investment-related direction. Our investment strategies are crafted through the lens of the research of Morgan Stanley’s Global Investment Committee. We make changes to these portfolios over time, as market conditions evolve.
Through our deep financial planning process, we are able to provide meaningful, tailored advice and leave a lasting impact on the lives we touch.

Dean’s responsibilities include oversight of the investment directions of our team, and working with High Net Worth clients in building and managing portfolios throughout their lifetime. As my daughter is up and coming equestrian, horses have become one of my passions and you will find me on most weekends mucking out stalls (keeps you humble), supporting her training or competitive efforts, and occasionally on top of one enjoying the partnership of man and horse. I always enjoy a great read and a good beach.

I work with clients to help them articulate, prioritize, and focus on reaching their financial goals. As a team, we build financial plans that serve as a roadmap to measure our success toward these goals. As clients' lives change, I work with them to reevaluate our strategy to help ensure they are best positioned. On the team, one of my areas of focus is on annuities and insurance. When estate planning situations arise, I engage our specialist at Morgan Stanley to find the best solutions available. I also work with our leading Alternative Investments division for clients interested in alternative strategies.
My grandfather was the head of economics at Tulane University for many years, so working in this industry was a given. I remember countless dinner meals discussing elasticity, correlations, and supply and demand! Prior to Morgan Stanley, I worked for several years in my family's local trucking business. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Orleans with a degree in Finance.
In my free time, I enjoy trying all of the wonderful new restaurants and events our city has to offer. I also enjoy travelling with my family.
