The Donohue Group is a team of Financial Advisors and other professionals, serving clients from coast to coast. We focus on wealth management strategies that are customized to help meet each client’s needs and objectives. Moreover, we look beyond daily headlines and frequent market fluctuations to create investment portfolios that help our clients make progress toward their goals.

As further evidence of our effectiveness, Mark Donohue, the founder of The Donohue Group, has historically been recognized as one of the top-rated financial advisors by a number of premier industry publications and organizations.
Mark began his career on Wall Street in 1982 with the firm of Gabriele, Hueglin & Cashman, a municipal bond dealer and underwriter. In 1985, the firm was acquired by Tucker Anthony, a leading NYSE member. Through this affiliation, Mark began providing a complete range of brokerage services. In addition, Mark served as a member of Tucker Anthony’s board of directors. In 2001, Tucker Anthony was acquired by RBC Dain Rauscher, a U.S. investment arm of Royal Bank of Canada. Mark and his team joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in November 2011. Mark continues to serve fixed income clientele in both personal and pension investing.

Mark G. Donohue has earned a reputation for investor-oriented advice and astute bond market analysis. When national publications such as Barron’s, The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, etc. are seeking insight into the bond markets they have contacted Mark for his commentary. Helping his clients clarify their investment goals and then formulating a plan designed to achieve them is what Mark enjoys most about his career. “When my clients call, they know they can speak directly with me when they need to. I make myself accessible to my clients, and I also make personal phone calls to alert them to potential opportunities and/or risks to their portfolio. My clients feel confident that I am very much in touch with their portfolio and have their best interests in mind. Gordon has been part of the Donohue Group at Morgan Stanley* since 2011. Prior to Morgan Stanley* and RBC Wealth Management, Gordon was a Portfolio Manager at Pinnacle Associates and Mission Global Advisors where he managed long only and long/short equity portfolios for high net worth and institutional clients. Gordon started his career in the Institutional Equity Group at UBS and JPM and has been involved in equities for over 25 years. Gordon uses his experience in helping our clients with stock portfolios and assisting in selecting managers for our equity asset allocations. Gordon graduated with a BSBA from University of Florida and attended Michigan Technology University studying Mechanical Engineering. Gordon holds FINRA series 7, 63 and 66 registrations.
