The most important part of my job is listening to you, asking questions for understanding, caring about you as a person and earning your trust. I believe that in order to successfully help you reach your financial goals, I need to understand you, your needs and your concerns.

I am based in the beautiful Southern Oregon Rogue Valley and love servicing Grants Pass, Illinois Valley, Cave Junction, Rogue River and the surrounding areas. Confidential meetings can take place in your home, your work, or my offices in Grants Pass and Medford.

Why I Chose a Wealth Advisory Career

My parents struggled hard for every dollar they had, but had no one to give them financial advice.  Through uninformed choices, they passed away with nothing.  I do not want that to happen to my family or my clients.  I have always held the trust of my clients as sacred and I am committed to giving you honest and candid advice with complete integrity.  Throughout my 30 years in this industry, my driven purpose has been to assist people, businesses and organizations achieve their financial objectives and lifestyle goals.

Biography

Nelson Maler, as a Financial Advisor and Certified Financial Planner™ Practitioner, focuses on providing comprehensive financial planning and customized wealth management for individuals, couples, families, businesses and institutions so as to help his clients manage, preserve and grow their wealth consistent with their financial goals and objectives.

He is based in beautiful Southern Oregon, and loves servicing Grants Pass, Illinois Valley, Cave Junction, Rogue River and the surrounding Rogue Valley areas.

He is a 30 year veteran of the financial services industry with a CFP® designation, a Senior Investment Management Consultant designation, a Personal Financial Planning Certificate with distinction from U.C. Berkeley, an M.B.A. in Finance with honors from Golden Gate University, and a B.S. Magna Cum Laude from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.

Nelson currently serves as Past President of the Rotary Club of Grants Pass, is Past-Chair of the Josephine County / Grants Pass Chamber of Commerce Board. He is a Rotarian Advisor that serves on two Rotary District committees. He has served as past President of the Western Welcome Newcomers and past Chair of the Josephine County / Grants Pass Chamber of Commerce Finance Committee. He has also volunteered as a Coach for Special Olympics and for numerous other community boards and activities.

Nelson has a 22 year old daughter who is a professional ballet dancer and a 19 year old special needs son who is very active in sports.
