The Northern Lights Group is the Twin Cities based Morgan Stanley Institutional Wealth Services Team. Our team is focused on serving Nonprofit Institutions both regionally in the upper Midwest and nationally.
In addition, we are able to leverage resources from Morgan Stanley Institutional Wealth Services when providing family wealth planning and corporate retirement solutions.
Our principal team of four members has developed our nonprofit business focus through deep relationships and a passion for making our communities a better place.

Fay graduated from St. Olaf College in 1986 with a double major in Economics and American Studies. Today, Fay is a Senior Investment Management Consultant with Morgan Stanley and leads the Northern Lights Group based in Minneapolis. Fay and her team focus on consulting to families and small to medium sized local nonprofit organizations.
Fay serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Professional Investment Consultant’s (APIC) & co-chairs the Professional Development Committee. APIC is an independent trade association of leading consultants, staff, and employees who believe in fostering professionalism through a culture of investment consulting excellence. Fay has also served on the Morgan Stanley’s Consulting Group Wealth Advisory Services Board, and National Diversity Council. Fay is a frequent speaker on investment policy statement design, audits, roles and responsibilities for the nonprofit community.
Along with her growing 30 years of service, Fay is an active community volunteer. She has strong relationships with numerous non-profit organizations. Currently, Fay serves on the Board of Directors at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare and as a member of the Investment committee and Philanthropy Committee.

Bryant graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2006 with a B.A. in Business Law. Today, Bryant is a Financial Advisor providing comprehensive consulting services to nonprofit organizations.
Bryant prides himself on delivering a high degree of service to meet all client needs. Bryant is responsible for conducting investment research, assisting with IPS development, allocation design/modification and investment selection for client portfolios. He is charged with monitoring client portfolios helping to ensure they stay within investment parameters, executing allocation/investment changes and managing client cash needs. Bryant has also spoken at conferences on a variety of topics including Policy Statement Development and Fiduciary Risk.
Outside of work, Bryant is an active volunteer. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Headway Emotional Health Services and is a member of the finance committee. He also volunteers as an alumni mentor for the University of St. Thomas Alumni Mentorship program and as a judge for the SIFMA Foundation InvestWrite National Essay Competition. Bryant is an avid outdoors enthusiast, enjoys traveling and loves spending time with his wife Andrea, sons Lucas and Jackson and German Shepherd, Luna.

Will is a Financial Advisor with the Northern Lights Group at Morgan Stanley. Will’s financial career began November of 2008 at the heart of the mortgage and liquidity crisis. His prior experience as an educator has helped Will effectively consult with clients providing strong value and confidence in times of uncertainty. Will understands the importance of comprehensive oversight and guidance taking all aspects of asset base, liability and risk into consideration. In 2010, Will completed his CRPC® designation making him qualified to serve in the areas of Endowments and Foundations, 401(k) and Profit Sharing, Cash Balance Pensions and retirement planning.
For more than a decade Will has been a strong and active advocate of North Minneapolis youth and economic initiatives. In 2012, he began a 4 year term as the Board Development Chair of the North Community YMCA Youth and Teen Enrichment Center serving youth and families throughout North Minneapolis.
Will lives in Minneapolis with his wife Krista and their two young boys. They enjoy spending time outside in all seasons enjoying the parks, lakes and trails throughout the Twin Cities.

Cassie is our Registered Associate and is returning to her Minnesota roots after beginning her professional career in Dallas, Texas. Cassie was born and raised in Minnesota and moved south to attend the University of North Texas where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance in 2012. Her career began as an analyst with Fidelity Investments and in 2014 she joined Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in Dallas. Unequivocally known as a people-person, Cassie takes great pride working with others. She enjoys developing client relationships and leveraging her industry experience to assist and simplify client’s financial needs.
Cassie is excited to be back in Minnesota close to her parents and two brothers, Tyler and Michael. In her free time, Cassie enjoys intermural soccer, traveling and cheering for the Minnesota Vikings. You will also often find her supporting and participating in various 5k Charity Race events bringing awareness to a variety of important causes.
