As a team consisting of two Portfolio Managers, two CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERS®, and one Family Wealth Director, The Coplin Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley provides highly customized financial solutions and caters to the wide-ranging financial needs of high and ultra-high net-worth individuals, families and institutions.
Steven Coplin, founder of the group, is one of less than 3% of Morgan Stanley financial advisors to have earned the distinction of Family Wealth Director. As a Family Wealth Director, Steven brings the scope and influence of the differentiating resources of Morgan Stanley to his most valued clients. This designation provides him with direct access to Morgan Stanley's Family Wealth Advisory services, enabling him to better address particularly complex wealth management challenges—including trusts and estates, access to lending solutions, philanthropy, control and restricted securities, and business succession planning.
Steven and Ryan are experienced portfolio managers who build globally diversified portfolios with a goal of producing competitive risk-adjusted performance based on each client’s unique goals. In managing client’s portfolios, Steven and Ryan live by the motto “it is not just about what you earn, but what you keep that matters” and emphasizes the importance of tax efficiency and net returns.

As a Financial Planning Specialist, Caroline has focused her talents on providing strategies dealing with education planning, liability management, retirement planning, and asset allocation. She is committed to helping clients understand the interconnected nature of investments, insurance, retirement and estate planning and in helping them accomplish the financial goals they have set for themselves.
As a Financial Advisor member of The Coplin Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley, Caroline works closely with Steven and Ryan in the design and implementation of customized wealth management strategies and is responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the practice. Caroline was named a Southwest Florida Five Star Wealth Manager by Gulfshore Life Magazine in 2015 and 2016.
Caroline has an MBA in Finance and a BS degree with a major in Finance from Florida Gulf Coast University. She has obtained her Series 7, 66 & 31 licenses as well as her insurance license, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and has met the CFP Board's education, examination and experience requirements.
Caroline is originally from the south of France and moved to Naples, FL in the year 2000. In her spare time, Caroline enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking and bike riding.

Ryan Sherman has been in the financial industry for over 8 years. As a Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager, Ryan has a disciplined approach to managing portfolios with his main focus on studying trends that shape the investment environment, drive the economy and ultimately impact clients' performance.
Delivering extensive up-to-date research and information, Ryan works closely with Steven and Caroline to create customized investment strategies, portfolios and solutions and is responsible for continuously monitoring investment performance.
Ryan is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and focuses on creating comprehensive financial plans for ultra-high net worth clients, concentrating on risk management, investments, tax planning and estate planning.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Ryan spent two years in Vienna, Austria doing humanitarian work. Born and raised in Florida, Ryan moved to Naples with his wife, Heather, in 2010. During his free time, Ryan enjoys boating, fishing and football.

Gary, a Certified Financial Planner® licensee, has over forty years of experience dealing with finance and investments. He has been advising individual investors since 1993, after positions as a commercial banker in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area and moving to Naples in 1989 where he was a Chief Financial Officer for a major media company.
Gary views his role as that of his client’s Chief Financial Officer. His experience in finance and investment advice lends itself to a consultative and advisory approach in listening to clients, analyzing and reviewing alternatives and delivering a comprehensive goals-based plan to address the client’s specific set of circumstances and objectives.
A common theme in this process is attention to detail and top quality client service. These services will be delivered and communicated by dedicated support staff, lead by Erin Laughlin, Gary’s Registered Client Service Associate. Gary and Erin have been delivering quality results for clients for the past 25 years.
Gary has been selected to the list of Southwest Florida Five Star Wealth Managers by Gulfshore Life Magazine including 2013-2017.
Gary and his wife Meggan have been Naples residents since 1989. They have two grown children, Shannon a graduate of Auburn University and Jeremy a Yale graduate.
Gary is active in the Collier County Community having served as President of the Naples-Pelican Bay Rotary Club, Chairman and Director of the Naples-Pelican Bay Rotary Endowment and as Treasurer and Trustee of Collier Harvest. He has past service with the Boy Scouts of America, Alligator District in several leadership positions.
Gary is a 1976 graduate of Rutgers College and received his Masters of Business Administration from Rutgers University Graduate School in 1980.

As a Senior Registered Associate, Meghann prides herself on delivering exceptional client service. Her focus is on providing cross-functional account and administrative support for client portfolios, including the opening of accounts, and ongoing account administration. While handling day-to-day account operations, Meghann is also responsible for ensuring a seamless transition for new clients and implementing financial solutions for all clients.
Meghann brings 19 years of experience in investments, sales, and customer service, with a background in private banking. Meghann moved to Southwest Florida in 2007. She previously worked with Fifth Third Securities, Inc. in Michigan and Naples as a private banker for four years. She also worked with Capital Wealth Advisors as Vice President of Wealth Management in Naples in 2009, before joining Morgan Stanley. Meghann holds her Series 7, 63, 65, 31 licenses as well as her Florida Life, Health and Variable Contracts license.
Meghann is very active leading a variety of committees within Morgan Stanley and in the greater Naples community. She practices yoga and cross fit regularly. Meghann also enjoys relaxing on the beach, boating, comic books, vintage cars, and spending time with family and friends.
Erin is your first point of contact for day to day requests. Erin is a longtime resident of Naples with 29 years experience in the financial services industry. During her career she has worked in several facets of the securities business which allows her to provide exceptional service to clients. She is well known for her attention to detail and stellar customer service. Outside of work Erin participates in community theatre and enjoys our parks for long walks.
