Our discovery process is deeper and more extensive than that which is practiced at many other firms. We strive to understand who our clients are as people, as well as investors, and what they truly want their wealth to accomplish.
We quantify our clients' financial objectives so that they, and we have a specific target to aim for. We map our clients' asset allocation to their specific objectives, as well as to projected inflows and outflows. As a result, clients often have several allocations that guide the investment of various asset pools earmarked for different goals.
We have an extensive network of professional contacts who are available to offer specialized advice when necessary. Our affiliation with Morgan Stanley, one of the world's most respected financial services firms, enables us to access internal specialists in disciplines as diverse as private banking, estate planning and, of course, asset management. Our discretionary investment approach seeks to enhance after-tax returns while providing sufficient liquidity.
We tie performance to client goals, not market indexes, and constantly monitor our clients' progress, adjusting their strategies when warranted by changing priorities in their lives and prevailing market conditions.

Matt brings over 25 years of financial services experience to the MCM Group at Morgan Stanley, where he is responsible for establishing and overseeing the group's efforts in areas involving asset management. Matt has worked at Morgan Stanley since 1995 and is a senior partner of the eight-member Group. For the years 2012-2014, Matt has been recognized by NJ Monthly Magazine as a Five Star Wealth Manager. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Matt spent 10 years with First Union Capital Markets in a similar capacity covering middle market institutions and high-net-worth clients. Having achieved the Family Wealth Director designation, Matt and his team are positioned to provide unparalleled access to experiences, resources, products and services to their high-net-worth clients.
Matt has a B.A. in Political Science/Government from St. Lawrence University. He completed the Management Training Program at First Fidelity Bank in 1985. Matt lives in Chatham, New Jersey with his wife, Maureen, and three children. Matt's favorite pastime activities include skiing, tennis, and traveling.

Paul Mandel, Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley has spent his entire career in the wealth management industry and has built his practice through his broad knowledge base in investments, insurance, estate planning and charitable giving. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, a Financial Planning Specialist as well as a 2014, 2015, 2016 Master’s Club member of Morgan Stanley. Paul is passionate about conducting a professional and effective discovery process and consistently helping to solve his client’s financial issues.
Paul attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, where he received his BA in Economics, and Fairleigh Dickinson University where he received his Certificate in Financial Planning. He serves on the board of the Arts Council of the Morris Area. Paul lives in Harding Township, NJ with his wife Gail and their two sons.

Todd is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®), holds the CLTC (Certified in Long-Term Care) designation, and is a partner of the MCM Group at Morgan Stanley. Todd has 14 years of industry experience (13 years with the MCM Group) and focuses on financial planning strategies and analysis. As a CFP® certificant, Todd helps clients navigate financial and life transitions. He works collaboratively with clients to create customized, comprehensive financial plans designed to address financial blind spots. Additionally, Todd is the Group’s life insurance, long term care, and annuity person. With that focus, Todd provides clients with reviews of existing policies in addition to offering income replacement and wealth transfer solutions.
Todd attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he acquired his Bachelor’s degree in Communication, with a minor concentration in Economics. Todd is a founding Board Member of the Apothecary Theatre Company in New York City, and currently resides in Scotch Plains, New Jersey with his wife Laura and their two sons. Together they enjoy traveling, exercising and participating in outdoor activities, including golf, tennis and skiing/snowboarding.

Mike Pidich is a Financial Advisor with the MCM Group. Mike has spent his career focusing on financial planning strategies and analysis. He works collectively with his clientele and believes that personalized service is essential when matching clients with suitable financial solutions and services. As a Financial Advisor, he is dedicated to learning about your personal goals. Working collaboratively he will use your goals to build a financial plan focused on your specific needs. Once your custom-tailored financial plan is in place, he will continually review performance against your stated aims, and ensure the owner is comfortable everything is moving forward according to plan.
Mike received his BA from York College of Pennsylvania and lives in Bridgewater, New Jersey with his wife Lindsey. In his free time, he enjoys participating in outdoor activities and cheering for his favorite sports teams.

Lisa is an essential member of our team providing our clients with the high level of service that they deserve and have come to expect. Her strong attention to detail makes her an invaluable asset. Lisa joined The MCM Group in 2013 with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry including over 15 years of service with Morgan Stanley. Over her career, Lisa has been the recipient of several recognition awards, including a recent Service Excellence Award. She also serves as the Client Service Associate Coach for the Western New Jersey Complex. She currently holds the Series 7, 66, and 31 securities licenses.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys traveling, volunteering, golfing, reading, physical fitness and spending time with family and friends
Josh joins the MCM Group as a new Team Administrative Associate. Josh will be assisting the team with analysis, research, and development projects.
Josh graduated with a B.S. Degree in Finance with a concentration in Financial Planning from the University of Scranton. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling the world, surfing, snowboarding, and grilling on the BBQ.
Lauren joins the MCM Group as a new Registered Client Service Associate. Her responsibilities include assisting the advisors with exceeding client expectations, processing transactions and trades, and handling all other tasks of daily operation. Her willingness to learn and attention to detail is unparalleled. She currently holds the Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses.
Lauren graduated with a B.S. degree in Personal Finance from the University of Wisconsin– Madison. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family, visiting local wineries and breweries, traveling the world, watching Netflix and HBO, and taking her three puppies on adventures.
