OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Experience, intellectual capital and dedicated personal service to help you meet your life goals
Experience, intellectual capital and dedicated personal service to help you meet your life goals
Our team, The Post Oak Group at Morgan Stanley, has advised foundations, endowments, corporate retirement plans and high net worth investors since 1992. From our 26 plus years of assisting our clients, we have learned the following key tenets that stand the test of time:
For our non-profit clients, your organization is dedicated to serving others. So are we! We work from an open architecture platform that puts your best interest at heart at all times, not ours. And, we focus on what matters most—you and your mission. We will guide you from Investment Policy design to implementation of your short and long-term investment plans.
For your qualified retirement plan, you are providing your employees with an opportunity to save for a secure retirement. You are also enhancing your ability to retain your current employees and making your company more attractive to prospective ones. However, if you’re like many plan sponsors, the prospect of overseeing a plan and the responsibilities that come along with it may seem overwhelming. As a Corporate Retirement Director, we have the resources to help address your concerns in a way that makes managing your 401(k) plan easier—so that you can focus on running your business.
Corporate executives, business owners, board members and others who have successfully built their wealth often find they do not have the time, energy, expertise or desire to personally manage their investment portfolios. Many of these high net worth individuals turn to The Post Oak Group at Morgan Stanley for experienced consulting. Our process combines our market-informed judgment with a cost-efficient, tax-aware investment strategy designed to meet a client’s income, growth and capital preservation requirements, done in an open architecture environment. Individual investors benefit from the same resources that we provide to our institutional investors to help maximize growth while managing risk.
Our team, The Post Oak Group at Morgan Stanly, brings an average of 30+ years of experience per team member, working in the non-profit, corporate plan, and high net worth sectors. From this experience, every client relationship is based on the development of a successful oversight structure for the organization that will involve day to day client interaction, advisement on all aspects of the plan, ERISA compliance matters, plan trustee and participant interaction, as well as personal consultation to individual plan participants. Our team has the experience, knowledge, and wherewithal to assist you in developing and maintaining a successful plan for your organization and those that you serve.
When starting a new relationship, we want to begin with figuring out where you are and what are you looking for financially. This discussion will bring about what major goals you are after and where we can help. During this meeting, we will start to build the foundation of our relationship and strategy for your plan.
The next step in our new relationship will be the plan building and development. We will begin to put together the overview and direction of your plan. This plan will help guide you to accomplish your goals and prepare you for possible negative occurrences. As we progress, the plan will change and adjust to your needs and goals in life.
Consultation and Engagement
Throughout our relationship, we will be continuously engaged with and work with you through the easy and difficult times. We will advise you on the direction of your plan and how to continue its success. We meet with our clients every quarter to review the aspects of each client’s plan and possible changes that they might desire. This consistent engagement with our clients is to help ensure that they are well cared for and always on the path to achieve their goals.
