23 years ago, when our founders began their practice, they shared a common goal of providing one of the finest wealth management experiences available anywhere with the guiding principal of always putting their clients first.  Each of them focused their study and attention on different types of clients, and on specific facets of the wealth management field. Thus they developed a deep understanding of the specific needs and challenges that their clientele encountered.  Together they were able to utilize that experience to better serve the needs of all of their clients.  This formed the basis of The Wellington Group as we know it today, a successful comprehensive financial planning based wealth management group, offering highly credentialed and experienced professionals to handle all aspects of your financial wellbeing.

As a group with more than 85 combined years of financial services, financial planning and active investment management experience, we work closely with business owners, fiduciary trust clients, affluent families, and retirees to help them navigate the various chapters of their financial lives.

 Our disciplined four-step consulting process is designed to help empower you to achieve and maintain the lifestyle you want for yourself and your family:

Step 1: Detailed Discovery
We spend a great deal of time talking about what is important to you and what you hope to accomplish with your wealth. Learning everything we can about your professional, personal and financial situation enables us to develop a financial plan—a comprehensive evaluation designed to align your resources with your short- and long-term goals.

Step 2: Strategy Development
Based on your financial plan, we help you develop a personalized roadmap that addresses your unique wealth management needs, from your investment strategy and asset allocation to your everyday finances, risk management and retirement planning needs.

Step 3: Strategy Implementation
We implement the strategy we have agreed upon, coordinating the resources required to bring the elements of your plan to life. In working with us, you also have access to a network of highly-credentialed professionals who specialize in investment management, trust and estate administration, private banking and lending, and insurance, to address your wealth needs.

Step 4: Ongoing Review and Monitoring
We monitor your portfolio on a daily basis. If there is need for a change, we make it quickly and efficiently. We also monitor your overall progress toward your goals. As life changes or priorities evolve, we adjust your plan as necessary to help ensure your strategy stays on track. You have sole responsibility for making all investment decisions with respect to the implementation of a Financial Plan. You may implement the Financial Plan at Morgan Stanley or at another firm.
